Dear Conservative Politician:
If you could turn back the clock—would you?
Many politicians today, mostly on the conservative or Republican side, say they want to restore America to constitutional order, restoring to it a constitutionally-ordered government.
But if they could, would they?
If they could turn back the clock to, say, 1890, would they?
Some would say they’d love to, to the extent that voters would allow them to.
My question for them is: What are you doing to persuade voters to allow you to?
