If I were a reporter
As a reporter, I’m just a poser. I work a 40 hour a week job in a field completely unrelated to journalism of any sort.
If I were a reporter, though, there’s a question I’m obsessing on and would start demanding answers to.
As I wrote yesterday, there is a dichotomy between the case Adam Silver presented for suspending Donald Sterling and the case everybody else is presenting in applauding that suspension.
And they’re not the same.
This is important
Does no one see something harmful in the NBA basing an extreme punishment on one rationale and its defenders in the press on another?
Why didn’t Silver mention the background?
And why isn’t anybody in the press making him?
